WORKOUT: 12 Days Of Fitness

For those of you that are busy this time of year or just want a fun workout that is different, here is what I did with my HIIT class this morning!

It should only take you about 10-12 minutes to do the workout-be sure to warm up all of your muscles for 5-10 minutes before and then do a cool down stretch after. Have fun and Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays!

Do this workout in the same way you would sing the “12 Days of Christmas” and you can modify or change the exercises to fit your ability. Move through the transitions quickly to make it harder.

  1. On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me:
ONE Burpee with a Tuck Jump
  2. On the second day of Christmas, my true love gave to me: TWO Skater Squats and a Burpee with a Tuck Jump
  3. On the third day of Christmas, my true love gave to me: THREE Triceps Pushups, TWO Skater Squats and a Burpee with a Tuck Jump
  4. On the fourth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me:
FOUR Split Jumps, THREE Triceps Pushups, TWO Skater Squats and a Burpee with a Tuck Jump.
  5. FIVE Deep Squats
  6. SIX Bicycle Crunches
  7. SEVEN Squat Jumps
  8. EIGHT Walking Lunges
  9. NINE Pushups
  10. TEN Mountain Climbers
  11. ELEVEN Double Crunches
  12. TWELVE Forward Squat Jumps

Make sure you keep your core tight, keep knees behind toes and weight in your heels on all squat moves, and modify if needed!
